So who is NortFX?
My name is James Norton, you can call me Nort though. I'm 28 years of age and I come from Cardiff, Wales. I first started using photoshop at the age of 15 and I haven't looked back since. I haven't had any official education in Graphic Design, I went the more self learning route.
I eventually went into the YouTube scene and I have produced work for some of the platform's biggest creators, kinda funny how that all unfolded and finding the position I'm in today.
What are my ambitions?
I would love the opportunity to work on a project that relates to my interests for something official. So for example my work tends to revolve around Anime, Movie & TV, Sports and many more and I would love an opportunity to create something, whether it be a poster, social media post for an anime franchise I'm a fan of or a relatively well known sports team or even for well I guess a movie or tv show. I also hope through sharing my work that I help inspire others to create their own pieces and share their artistic abilities.
Where can you find my work?
I tend to post all my projects to Twitter and Instagram, it's great building a following through social media and getting reception on my work from all over the world. As well as social media, you can probably see my work from time to time on YouTube as I create thumbnails, banners and some in video graphics for creators.
So why do I use the themes that I do?
There's no real particular reason for the themes behind my projects, ultimately I'm just a fan of many things and I like creating projects for things I'm passionate about. I feel you produce your best work that way if it's for something you truly enjoy otherwise what's the point?
